Acquired another Micro 4/3s lens…

I just aquired a second lens for my Panasonic G1, the 45-200mm (90-400mm 35mm equivalent) and so far am very pleased. I plan to write a review for this blog in the coming weeks. I might have a better chance to test it in Quito, Ecuador on my way to the Galapagos next week.

Since Christmas, I have been using a Panasonic G1 Micro 4/3’s camera with its kit 14-45mm (28-90mm 35mm equivalent) lens for street photography and as a general walk-about camera. It weighs very little, it’s extremely compact, and the image quality is very high. To boot, it doesn’t cost that much, so if somethign were to happen to it (I use it on the street…), I wouldn’t be out of my “main” camera.

In any event, stay tuned. Oh, and some images from a recent trip to Washington, D.C. should be up in a few days.
